Name meaning: Arabic for 'a female that walks on a straight path'

 

Likes: salon visits and yard security patrols

Dislikes: hedgehogs

Falcons

 

Falcons require special living conditions so we do not keep them on site at the Equestrian Centre, however we do have the opportunity to meet and interact with them if you attend one of our cultural events such as our 'Bedouin Experience'

Name meaning: Arabic for 'lightening'

Likes: food and Zulaikha

Dislikes: following instructions and loud noises

Balqees                          بلقيس

Sulcata tortoise named for an ancient Arabian queen​. She is about 20 years old.

She is very skilled at burrowing and built herself a large underground burrow at our old stables. We expect she will do the same at our new location.

 

She loves pumpkin & watermelon.
